Cornwall back when I went with family or even work was 4am from home 9am arrive in St Ives, return leave at 6pm home by 11pm. No tugging stopping at motorway services ffs.
We left at 5 am on Monday, down there for 9, had a great week. We did think about having a day on the beach then leaving at about 5, wish we had done that now
That’s what we used to do, squeeze the most out of the last day and start the week with an early day. If the weathers nice a little kip on the beach is nice too.
Someone dropped these CD's in yesterday, charity shop or me i guess was their thought process at the time.
It’s SWMBO’s birthday today so she’ll be milking wanting to be waited on hand and foot all day long #2 son and family will be coming over later so it’ll be bleeding mayhem with the 2 lunatic grandchildren marauding around all day to add to my day of suffering. And at some point I’ll be sorting out my bike and packing as I’m off to north, mid and south Wales early tomorrow morning with some friends for a few days riding
Marauding lunatic grandchildren? I thought I read somewhere they were angels who you liked to buy ice cream for?
Very very busy shift today. Finish work approach my mini and it’s been seagull bombed all over the roof down the back window/boot/bumper and side window side panel and splatters on other side Baking nicely in the hot sun God damn vermin piss me off. managed to clean it all off. Home to sing happy birthday to my girl with Krispy Kreme and candles Sat outside now in the sunshine waiting for the washing to finish.
Bike sorted, packing done, airbag vest brain on charge. And now for some sunbathing before the peace and quiet is interrupted
Been for a bacon, brie and cranberry granary roll by the bank of the Kennet and Avon canal. Managed a very engaging and enjoyable 90 mile round trip. Andy
Not a bad afternoon's work. I changed my mind half way through and didn't install the cill (for easier bike entry) so have a teeny-weeny gap to fill
