Been to look at new helmets. Dealers don’t seem to have much in stock…….not sure whether it’s Brexit, cv19 or the Suez blockade that’s caused stock shortages. Or a combination of all three. This evening I’m out for a ride to Hollingworth Lake

The removal mission was completed lastnight for a friend at 1.30AM plus with the demons sweated out with a very physical day moving furniture up and down staircases etc.
more what I shall be doing tomorrow- getting up and leaving by 530 to drive to darkest Wales for two days on triumphs off road course. Should be rainy and muddy ( its Wales after all) but I suspect I shall be more of a wreck only having been on a bike twice in the last 18 months..... it should be entertaining, at the very least.......fall back option for Sunday is a tour of the Penderyn distillery - or recuperation as its known in technical elite sporting circles. ice baths will not be being taken!
We’ve been to buy a new frame for a poster SWMBO bought to hang in the recently decorated bedroom. Met one of our old neighbours in town and had a chat, then went to Specsavers to look at new specs/frames for SWMBO after she’d had an eye test yesterday. Came home, had lunch then hung the new frame in the guest bedroom. I’m now feeling the need to eat chocolate
