Fairline moved further down the road went bust a few years ago, AFAIK it’s owned by a couple of Russians seem to be busy enough when last I passed. I agree though odd place to be once your boat gets above a certain size. Same for a boat builder in Kidderminster Fibrasonic, the boats got bigger and being next to a river wasn’t enough for very large boats to be floated. Was a nice distraction to go there and signwrite the names on the hulls.
I bought another bike…. A hack … CBF500 top condition, needs nothing, using the MTS as an instructor bike in London is horrible and not good for mine or the MTS health. The CB can get 70-80mpg the brand new tyres will last for years, pads all new, new C&S etc.
Completed my speed awareness course via Zoom. Six of the other participants knew the score just listen and get it over with the seventh was Derek from Birmingham. Derek asked lots of irrelevant questions and had previously had his license ‘ provoked ‘. Don’t be like Derek !

Had my first Pfizer jab today, expecting to fall ill at any moment with flu like symptoms. Got asked for the date of my first jab, I must look old.
Right then next jab I’ll take an AZ jab, I’ve read it doesn’t matter which for the second same immunity level.
£40 a sheet, covid tax is kicking in. Bought some fencing stuff last week and they stated they were going to push prices up the next day if I didn’t order that day. Thing is they had plenty of stock the robbing klunts inflating on stock they held as well as increasing on stock being bought at wholesale.
Going to look at a previously owned, Ford Fiesta 1.3 in an hour, in the hope that it will be suitable to replace the very near to falling apart, 17 year old Focus 1.6. Comes to something when 4 new tyres will cost more than the car is worth Decided it's also time for a visit to Yo Sushi Andy
