  5. I've given myself a project to scan in old photos of my grandparents and parents. Came across these photos of my parents and their 1952 Arial 500. Turns out it is still registered with the DVLA so have put out a call via Twitter to see if the current owner can be located. The Arial owners club doesn't have the reg number on their database.
Not sure about the two Scottie dogs perched on the saddle

  7. How fantastic to have those pictures of your parents when they were still young!
That’s the problem with this digital age, nothing gets printed anymore, the sheer nostalgia of an old crumpled black and white pic has gone forever, a great loss imo.

  8. Finally the skies are blue but the clouds are blowing around so who knows what'll unfold weatherwise, so maybe a short ride out on a Ducati, i'd have a central heating 28mm pipework repair task job booked for today but that can wait for another day.

  9. Got that booked for next weekend .
    So no spoilers!!

  14. I've been poring over my late mum's photo albums this week. As you say real, worn bits of paper mean so much more than a modern, digital image - they seem to carry their history as they age. Here's my grandpa in S.America in the early 20s...
