Ain’t they just, it was the Calor Gas sign Iwas referencing though the incidental bike however had 40k+ on it’s clock but then it was a 02 plate so only 2k ish a year. Think it is a Duckitty or some such.
I'm busy doing the bearings on my bevel now most of which have been in the engine for 40 years and they seem ok. However the mains on these bikes are a bit dodgy if sat around so I would bite the bullet and change the lot.
Its only the adjustable pulleys, one actually sounds a bit dodgy. So replacing both. The non adj pulleys spin freely and smoothly. SKF6003RSHC3 if anyone interested.
Washed the MTS1200 and CBF500. Rode them both, MYS passed 45000 miles today and refuelled both for my extra BP points. Also just fitted new front discs and pads so bedded them in and they seem to be doing stoppies from a high speed??
It was mentioned to me so as i was in the area why not take a look, kicking them over's the problem for me.
Finally back in the UK. See my daughter in 48 hours and no more flying for a while. 6 countries, 12 flights and I’ve lost 2kgs! Win.
Me too, but pocket money only went so far.... Still leaked all over the floor though, Happy days indeed....
We used to freeze these like tip tops but a lot larger, briefly taken back to being Ten years old and a garage full of old Brit bikes Triumphs and Royal Enfields no Norton’s.
Took off non adjustable pulley wheels and decided to replace those bearings and circlips too. They're the effin same an the adjustable ones, so I could've saved a quid or so had i ordered all together.
After hurting my back couple weeks ago and taking it very easy and resting was able to do get back into keep fit this morning
Out for lunch today. Usual 3 course on the terrace. Group of Dutch bikers, great guys. Menu 14 euros each. Still some places making the effort and pleasant.
