  1. Seems to be happening all over, a couple of local ones in Cheltenham I've heard are in the same boat.

  2. Just had a flyer poked through my door from Hampshire Highways, informing me that the road outside my house is part of "Operation Resilience" and they will be applying a surface treatment to the carriageway in preparation for winter. F**king money would be better spent actually repairing the surface after the specialist patchers they employed, left the surface in a worse condition than it was. A thin skin of Tarmac, laid on a concrete surface cannot survive the 3 busses an hour, 14 hours a day, 7 days a week nor the 200 to 300 cars twice a day, 5 days a week, dropping their little darlings of at the school at the end of the road. Hampshire Highways will be receiving feedback from this disgruntled resident  Andy

  3. We've been to the Outlet mall at J32 on the M62.

I've bought swmbo a Christmas present and she's bought me one. And we've bought the grandchildren Xmas and birthday presents.

Then we collected #2s kids from school and took them for a McDonald's.

    Today has been expensive :(

  4. Opened a 'time-sensitive' envelope....

Yes - a speeding ticket:mad: 37 in a 30 FFS. Haven't been caught since I was 17. Off to naughty school for me....

  8. Have you driven one? We ordered my wife an XC40 in lockdown, so couldn’t test drive it. Relying on all the reviewers on YouTube was a costly mistake.

  11. No - she currently drives a Kadjar 1.2 Auto so how bad could be...!? I want to evaluate a hybrid, so figured that getting one with decent residuals and a high demand meant at least I could shift it pronto if need be. Cars aren't really my thing and given that it will sit in traffic doing 20MPH most of the time I figure 0-60 is the least of my worries...

  12. I got it in the sale for £1900 however they have just gone back to full price at £2900!

  13. Insured the KTM Superduke - £492 FC.

An ok price considering I have 9 points and only 3 years NCB.

  14. Dropped the V4 off at MR for its annual service. Dilemma now is, do I sell it or keep it ? If I sell it, do I sell it as is or do I put it back to standard ? First world problems. Andy

  15. Why do you need to sell this vehicle.

  16. That’s a result! Was it easy to fit?

  17. Going to be unridden for long periods, if at all, little storage room due to the other 8 bikes in the house and garage and whilst I have been enormously impressed by the bike and enjoyed riding it, there is no emotional attachment. Andy

  18. It was a lot easier as Ducati Manchester did it for me! Seems like it has to be mapped by a Ducati dealer so took it to them. 4 hours to fit but they did me a good deal . Very happy. More torque it seems; the top end is unbelievable and the sound is addictive! Only trouble is the wife is making me push the bike to the end of the street before I start it !
I was looking at the termi but chatting to a couple of the mechanics they have been having issues with the UpMap and euro 5. Don’t know how true this is but at that price it had to be the akra for me
