i'm busted.. chanced upon a skip nearby with a mountain bike wheel poking out. Half an hour later and I have all the secondhand mechanical distraction i need for the next week or so. One even had twin-piston hydraulic brakes - all working..
Used the cable beneath the seat for 'securing' your lid, to strap up the silencer and get a ride before swapping subframes. Now the clutch barely works. Well, starting the job tomorrow, so while I'm at it will change engine oil/filter, hydraulic fluid and coolant, drill out and replace the LH mirror bolt, clean the air filters and the chain. Anyway, the ride, as always, was a pleasure, even with having a hard time getting neutral.
It’s decided to be dull and damp here Edit the sun came out and I sat outside until the grey clouds came back over like now
Wife saw this on offer at Morrison's, down from £6.50 to a fiver but the offer was coming to an end so went to order with click and collect, minimum order had to be £40. So we bought 8 bottles Whilst there I saw these on offer, pound a bottle, thought it would be rude not to.
Got on the bike again in search of touch-up paint. Actually got wet! (That could be so misread!) Anyway, the bike's up on the Swedish pop group now. No more little rides in lieu of work. Besides which the clutch is worse. You'd almost think it was leaking!
Been to a “Sports Therapist” to see if I can break the cycle of muscle spasms in my neck. Feel like I’ve been through a wringer and been told tomorrow will feel worse but give it a few days and I’ll begin to feel the benefits of the treatment. Also been given some targeted stretching exercises to do. Fingers crossed. Andy
Above pic is the best of the four and all up together now, unbelievable, definitely owe the bloke a few pints.
