Well, wheel didn’t turn up yesterday so spent along time on phone with TNT today. My wheel was on a van from Thetford depot to me, BUT customs recalled it mid journey and it’s now back with Dartford customs. Really can’t believe it. No reason given either.

Nice couple of hours walk with the dogs first thing this morning. Then followed by a decent hundred odd miles out on a bike. Bacon baps for lunch. A small snooze whilst watching most of the Moto GP qualifying. Bit of dinner, now just waiting for MOTD to start. A very enjoyable day.
Been out for 3 hours around the South Yorkshire countryside with my neighbour Steve. Weather is beautiful for the time of the year and the roads weren’t too busy either. Stopped for a coffee at Elsecar heritage centre and then had a lovely, brisk ride home Now watching MotoGP
Went to get a PCR test, ready for our first trip to the US since last February. Luckily tested negative, as I’ve got loads booked, including flying in to NY on the last day so I can take my wife to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City, as she’s wanted to go for years.
I've to say never, as a fan of Waitrose....maybe nextime in the frying pan with a knob of butter / garlic.
prolly looking for the free library thing. One road going memory that sticks in my mind was a genuine one waiting at Esher traffic lights, early '70's. I must have been on a motorbike as only way I could see flames licking and dancing around inlets at idle. Not sure if the driver/owner was aware but luckily kept blipping throttle from time to time which sucked it all up on the whole.
