It's all about the right amount of pressure and speed of movement in the right place at the right angle. Are we still talking about silicone sealant?
Sorted the shed out, as I need the room to work this winter, I have too much stuff!!! Also scored a nice warhammer army on ebay(getting back into it as the lad I’m mentoring at work wants to start playing).
My youngest lad 'does' Warhammer. Spends hours and hours painting models in finite detail with paintbrushes with @1 hair in. Wish I still had the eyes for it. He's also into Airsofting, running round the woods shooting people, and has recently CAD designed some plastic covers to get 3D printed in sections that when wrapped around one of his airsoft weapons will make it look like a Space Marine Weapon. I'm not too sure about it all, but it keeps him out of trouble.
All done. And now to do bugger all. Though I may just go out on the scrambler as the sky is blue and the sun is shining
sounds like a bright lad! And with a possible future in engineering. I did airsoft in my teens, loved the mechanical and tactical aspect of it, but stopped in the end due to bad sportsmanship. Would like to build a gas rifle again, but under the new laws I can’t unless I join a club and start playing again. And warhammer is one of the best hobbies you can have.
He uses the CAD as a means to an end for stuff like his Warhammer and Gunsight mounts etc. But in 'real life' is a Vet nurse, completely different, but he really enjoys it and is now looking to specialise.
Ha! Cleaned the place up on account of carpenter coming round to do maintenance work, then got a call that he's sick, so not coming! Well, that's the day's comedy taken care of!
Just booked a restaurant for lunch on Wednesday for our weekly treat, and one for Friday evening for #2 sons birthday
That's a wonder memory for that period, the following day there was a Porsche GT3 sitting in the same place but not as nice as the above.
Ripped out a kitchen today and found newspapers from 1986, it's always great reading old stuff how things were back in the day.
The people who purchased a house from Lady Nasher and myself @25yrs ago held us to Ransom on a couple of things being done, and were generally a pain in the rear end for months holding up a whole chain of people moving with petty and stupid requests. One of the things they wanted done, and kept holding up exchange for, was the lino replacing in the kitchen, despite telling us they were going to rip the whole kitchen out and start again as soon as they moved in. I brought some dark red printing ink home from work and left a big pool of it to dry in the middle of the kitchen floor with some bare foot prints leading to the back door before covering it with the new lino. We also took some of the cupboards off the wall after we'd emptied them and used a paint brush to create some nice sprays up the wall before putting the cupboards back.
Well, wheel-gate update, after speaking to customs today. My wheel probably on way back to the Fatherland. My day today spent on phone to customs & emailing Germany asking both to talk to each other pronto
