Did a three piece gig tonight - keyboard / drums / bass (me) - pity it was an oompah night and the expected oompah band had cancelled last week... Root / 5th / Root / 5th / Root / 5th / Root / 5th for 3 hours.. I must say though - Respect by Erasure as an oompah tune was a funny as f*ck to play...
Moving stuff down to the coast for a friend yesterday, came back late with the Bats flying about and shaved 20 plus minutes off the return journey time.
Got to take SWMBO to the railway station in the next hour as she is meeting some old friends in Leeds for a day of shopping, gossiping and drinking cocktails. I’ll be picking her up at 7pm, and undoubtedly she will be very drunk.

Had to pickup my daughter after she reversed her car into a post and was too upset to drive home. She only passed a week ago, but luckily no-one hurt and a new rear light cluster should fix most of the damage. Could be worse and a "good" wakeup accident
Sorry to hear she’s had a bump but like you say, even though it’s seemingly a minor bump, it’s a little wake up call and hopefully she’ll not do it again
Christmas tree up at the Connaught hotel in Mayfair, around the corner from work. I think it looks utterly shit.
Spent a few of hours blasting about on my wee Suzuki. Dry roads, mostly sunny and 15 degrees C. at one point. If I had known it was to be this nice I would have taxed the Supersport and went a bit further afield. Two tanks of petrol though - not the most efficient mode of transport.
I’ve been climbing today whilst SWMBO has been out on the lash with some friends in Leeds. This evening I picked her up from the station, and whilst she was in a good mood I asked if it was ok to go to WDW in July next year. Flights have been booked and paid for
Been speaking with some breeders this week about a working springer, I’m still a little anxious about whether to go for it but I do love my spaniels
