  1. Christmas present run with the advanced motorcycle group, to a school for special needs children.
Great reception and the kids had a chance to have their photos taken on the bikes.
Looking forwards to the Easter egg run next year.

  4. You need a Thor copper hide mallet. Satisfying crunch on impact. Good to see you are taking it all so calmly:)

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  5. I’m going to cane the 899 to the coast tomorrow and get to maximum revs while simultaneously screaming my head off in my Pista RR about TNT:upyeah:

  6. Took some photos of the engine at different shutter speeds / ISO and then fiddled around in Photoshop :)

  7. Went to the Ducati Manchester Xmas party up in Bolton. Food was good, Band on was excellent. Company was great. Even SWMBO enjoyed herself. :)

  8. It was strange one last night as i couldn't sleep a wink and was up at the magic time, but no access to the F1 battle.
So avoiding the t.v & radio results until i know.

  9. 1/125s does it for me :upyeah:.
I hate Photoshop, always moving the cheese with every update.

  10. Lived in Bolton for years. Staff parties for my lot were at Rivington Barn. Good bikers meet up place. Massive turn out in Summer..
Black dog at Belmont in the days of whistling Jim Pilkington. Not been for years.
Takes me back, hammering over from Belmont on a 1978 900ss. First time I soiled my leathers. Still got em, still fit and still need cleaning
Ducati then was a shop in Bury. Saw my first 916 there!
Nostalgia not what it used to be.:)

  11. Dressed up as Santa and went out on a local charity Santa ride - the forecast said "rain".. yeah no shit..
But the Ducati didn't miss a beat the whole journey despite the copious amount of water...

  12. Forgot - had to get fuel for the Ducati pre-ride - headed up to a the garage parked up, fuelled and headed to pay - an old boy leaned out of his car window and said "there is a really bad rattle on that - have you heard it? You need to get that looked at"
"No that's the dry clutch, they all do that"
    "No??"
    "Yep..."

After I'd paid he followed me back to the bike so I pointed out the vented cover, the dry clutch etc and had a very pleasant conversation :)

  14. Italsport?

  15. SWMBO has had her 4th Cv19 jab today (2nd booster). When she asked about me the docs said that they were just doing the clinically vulnerable right now and I’ll probably be called in the new year.

  16. You got it!

  19. I traded in my first 900ss for a Senna Monster S4 with them years back
I think the they’ve gone to the wall since.

  20. Don’t know what happened to them. My memories of Bury are mixed as a kid in the 60s changed trains there to travel to Rawtenstall to visit my great grand parents. Black pudding from the market. They called it the Bury smile, everyone had lumps of pudding in the teeth! Would have been pre Beeching train closures so 5/6 year old I guess.
    Happy days.
