rule of thum, if c.o just over limit and lamda high with know gas leaks. cat. if c.o high aprox 1%+ and lamda low oxygen (lamda) sensor.
my guess if all good with lamda wireing some models pre cat wire very long and can burn on exhaust i would recomend lamda sensor. if air filter and air flow meter in good working order
Well co was twice limit (act 0.79, limit 0.30) and lambda was low in range , so I was going oxygen sensor. cat was replaced in aug 2010, kwik fit probably put on a cheese one though. one o2 sensor was replaced earlier this year, will replace the other now. will get it stuck on genesis , to see if any fault readings lurking to confirm the above. failing that, whack some Worcester sauce it, and take it up the bypass in second at 90, a few times cheers for rules of thumb ( or is that rule of thumbs?)
looking at error code it sugests i might be dead. by the way post cat lamda sensor shouldnt effect emmisions, hope not teaching to suck eggs here.
Shelving racks arrived today for the garage, put 1 together tonight and the big tidy up clear out is coming ! Could do with a dry day now to turf it all out and sort stuff ! Can I create enough space for another bike, that's the big question
