So what have you done today..?

  1. Look, my days are mainly fuelled on copious amounts of alcohol right now, so I may be a bit slow on the uptake. Sheesh.

  2. Alcohol is currently not figuring in my day and his post was still over my head :joy: Andy

  3. I've been sat waiting for the exhaust to be changed from my old scrambler to the new one. I've still got another couple or three hours wait. :bucktooth:

It was planned to take a loan bike out but it's been pissing down all morning and it's only just stopped.

  4. I'm the opposite with a detox after drinking too much after work onsite in recent times.

  5. How’s the newbie?

I’m off over to the lads at Ducati Mcr tomorrow, nice to hear Chris is back manning the desk.

  6. Yes he’s back! I was pleased to see him too :upyeah:

  7. I spent some time messing around with my trackbike. I'm afraid I undid some of my previous work, but it's for the greater good.

The trackbike's suspension took a step or two back.

But I ended up with some parts left over that will fit the new to me Superlight just fine...

It's been sitting for about 20 years so needs a little TLC. The belts are new and the trackbike won't be using them any time soon, so I repurposed them...

  10. You need to get away for a while, plan yourself a nice little break someplace sunny and warm.

  11. Think I might. Any ideas where?

  12. Busy day today so I’ve dried all my gear from yesterday, just put the airbag vest and Packtalk on charge on the off chance I can get out on the scrambler to get some miles on it as I’d like to get the ecu and first service done sooner rather than later. I’ll definitely get some miles on it over the weekend too.

So other stuff to do today includes grouting the last bit of the garden path which we didn’t get done on Monday, sorting out car insurance, going to see my PT again as he’s been away for the past few weeks, and breaking up some pallets and a timber crate for a guy who’s collecting it all this evening.

And like I said I will also try and get an hour or two on the scrambler if I can. :)

  14. Finished off the grouting to the cobbled path. Hurrah!

I was going to go out on the Scrambler but I've spent the past couple of hours dealing with car and bike insurance.

Now I'm heading off to meet my PT, then at 5pm I have a man coming to collect the crates/pallets the cobbles/sand/cement were delivered on and then it's quiz night at the pub apparently.

  16. That looks fantastic. They're making great progress with ours, so I'll stick some pictures up once it's finished.

  17. Spent hours online getting totally confused as to why I'm seeing oil in the intake... valve guide, valve stem seal, piston rings or high flow oil pump? I even got as far as reading about reversion with late inlet valve closing.... :astonished:

This was finished off with 30 minutes peering into spark plug holes in the vain attempt I would suddenly see the answer to my woes.

Path looks splendid btw... just watch out when it gets icy...

  18. Mr T, I didn't know you're a redhead and wore women's leggings.;)...............smashing job.:upyeah:

  19. Only on Thursdays. And then it’s Ms Teresa to you :p

  20. First coat of paint in garage. Boring old white. Cheap wickes trade special plus magnolia to cover and a few repaired plaster bits equals going to take about 5 coats!!
