Time for a rebuild. No big surprise there.

  6. Cheap paint has less pigment = more coats. Simples.

Best white I’ve found is Dulux trade white. Ok so it’s £40 a tub but saves lots of time and coats and therefore money. It also gives a better finish.

  7. The washing's on the rotary line already with this fab friday morning weather, two new tires & tracking for the van late this morning, then perhaps another bike out.......£101 road fund licence.:sob:

  8. Trip to Pudsey Dental centre this morning to have my implant refitted this time. Hopefully.

  9. Hopefully! The garage threshold cover seems to work well and since installing the floor hasn’t been wet

There is damp at the bottom of the walls where the chicken coop (next door) have fitted against the wall but think I’ll have to live with that and paint every now and then.

Get this painted over the weekend and and next start on flooring!! Then build a bench…

  10. Now it’s dried it covers better than I thought! Although it now has shown the magnolia ceiling, and may look odd, and I wasn’t going to paint that…!

  11. If your wall doesn’t form part of the boundary line you could ask your neighbours to move it back.

Very often an over-hanging gutter forms the extremity, whilst it wouldn’t offer much it would create a ‘breathable’ zone and able your wall to dry out.

Obviously I haven’t seen the property or met your neighbours!
    Enjoy the bench
    :)

  12. All done :)

Also just “plumbed in” the new BT digital voice adapter box to our phone and BT hub. I can now move the phone base to anywhere in the house and not be limited by where a phone socket may be located.

  13. As I finished work early today :party: I thought I would get the two stroke out for it’s first ride this year,

  16. That’s handy. I’d like to move the tv in our lounge, but the virgin media socket makes it impossible, as we want it in the opposite corner. Would be handy if there was a wireless option.

  17. So far this year just four rides out on very different machines, with the Paul Smart today...........nope i not swapping my life for anybody else's.:punch:;)

  18. Tracking for the van, does it wonder off every now and then?

  19. I must have knocked a roadside kerb or something like that.
