  2. Yes just a little rear garden so that's all what was needed this time.

  3. Looks like the chap at 11 o'clock has over indulged on the sun already.

  4. My old man used to use a flymo years ago.

Until both blades snapped off and broke his legs at the shins. He had to crawl 50 metres up the garden to get my mother to take him to the hospital.

  5. Where was he working? A mine field! Ouch!

  6. Just to much running over stuff that didn't want to be cut which weakened the blades. Plus the older flymos had plastic (?) casings which provided no protection against shrapnel

  7. Yesterday 8 of us went to Campbeltown with @finm . We had lunch outside :upyeah:

Today’s ride is to the Green Welly to meet with Scottish Ducatisti for an hour then a couple of hundred miles with lunch around Crieff I think. :)

  8. Jesus that's sounds like another Joe Simpson movie.

  9. Travelled a long way to go to "Wheels and Waves" in Biarritz yesterday...total waste of time... Lifestyle event..hmmm.. beards, tattoos and posturing... Shame.

Still today decided to spend the day blasting around the Pyrenees...canny place. ;)

Edit: 350km of very twisty roads later... I can hardly walk. Going to have to do something about my flexibility issues...

  10. Well I'm now stuck on my own in Crieff. My bike has been pissing oil all over and is unrideable. I've cleaned the excess off as best as I can but can't really tell where it's coming from. Sump plug is my best guess at this stage. The back tyre was covered in oil. I've no idea how I didn't come off as we've been riding in a spirited fashion all morning!

The tour leader has gone back to get the support van from Arrochar and will collect me and it around 4pm hopefully. Then it's home in the van tomorrow with the guy with the smashed up shoulder :/

  15. Piss poor spannering it would seem at first read clearly there are stages of spirited if you’ve survived an oil covered tyre.

Support van!!! were you all riding Ducati ?:)
