  5. I've taken up walking again for the past three / four weeks, normally for the hour mark every evening & have noticed the fitness levels are much better thank you vey much, but my heels are killing me now.

  6. like the sound of that, maybe I ought to increase mine to an hour but currently half that as get bored so easily.
If you haven't done it for a while then watch out for shin splints particularly if you go at it a bit hard/don't have well-cushioned footwear. Got mine for the first time around 4 months ago and ended up diagnosing it myself, targets the shinbone mostly and will almost feel like it's fractured, can become red and inflamed on the skin surface. Now i'm over it, it feels like both bones are almost reconditioned and less prone to knocks and bruising now.

  7. Well i'm a very fast walker so'll screw up my knees / joints even more now, oh well that's life i guess, but yes new footwear's on the cards.

  8. Added even more lightness. At this rate I’ll never have to diet again!

  12. Yeah I’ve avoided people mostly as much as I can but my Mother took a tumble Friday at her flat and couldn’t get up without assistance. We then sat and waited for an Ambulance for 6 hours only to be told we’d need to make our own way to the ‘Urgent Medical Department’…….

She tested herself Saturday and the test came back positive…

  13. life just ain't fair at times, I don't need to tel you this but you did the decent thing, the only thing that you could have done.

Might clean my bike from yesterday hoon around that there Welsh Wales….:)

  19. Re walking, other than golf which is distance rather than flat out speed, always wear walking boots or shoes.
Makes it so less fatiguing on feet.

  20. The insurance renewal's up on a bike next week, but i was thinking of selling but then thought sod it and reinsured it today.
Also i'd the yellow & silver bikes out today for short runs, i was going for a shakedown on a red one but the tickover's not correct.
