^^^^ Beautifully balanced cars and great fun when grip is available and absolutely useless on snow and ice, a bit like all electric cars (too much initial torque and no ability to engage a higher gear)
At a neighbour’s wedding in rural Perthshire near Dunkeld. Excellent venue, lovely people and good band. Had a great time.
Just watched a piece on Ed Slater, ex-Glos player who has been diagnosed with MND. Just done a 350 mile bike ride, over the last few days, for his charity. It’s such an awful disease, has to be one of the worst you can have. Especially as someone who is an athlete used to being busy sportsman. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/62476218 https://justgiving.com/crowdfunding/gloucesterrugby-4ed
Me draining down the central heating system today ready for the two new Radiator feed connections and then i can go out play. Also last night i finally got back into The Bridge / T.v series as it's been two months since the last sitting.
It’s the fact he knows that over time, May be years May be months, he will not be able to do anything physically at all. Look how quick Rob Lowes deteriorated, Doddy Weir seemed ok for couple of years then in a snap of the fingers clumsy talk, walk unaided or stand for long. It’s a soul destroying disease.
One of my amazing customers had MND he would come through self scan (I would do it) and have a chat he called me his pig tail lady watching him deteriorate over time was hard as he was a colleagues dad and hubby He would walk by self scan to the cafe and wave as he went His wife would come and shop later on and Mick always said to say hi to me he didn't forget Bless him rest easy Mick
Finished work early so I did a 55 mile ride out on the Kawasaki, it doesn’t handle, brakes are useless,it’s uncomfortable and it’s slow…..loved every minute of it!
One of my nicer ride to work days with a little jaunt to Morten-in-Marsh, an overnight, and back the next day...
Got sent this afternoon to help our young labourer "clear some plasterboard". The part they forgot to mention was that it was half a skip load, two floors up, 18mm soundblock and in a million bits!. You can never do enough for a good boss!.
