I've been a pretty loyal soul with dealers for vehicle purchases, both car and bike for some time. Moved to Ducati from years of BMW and as I really wanted one, put up with crap service on the purchase, but that dealer will never see me again. The BMW dealer still keeps in touch - I accept I'm still a potential customer, but still. The Ducati dealer couldn't wait to get rid of me Same with the car. I've found, because the market suits them and they can sell anything, their attitude is crap, but will change when they can't sell anything without massive discounts etc over the coming year or two. Two of my friends in the car job promised to 'sell my car within hours', then never even came back to me. Funny thing is, they'll need a favour soon enough, but the same will then apply.
The first person i told to f@~@ off was an old school friend, they needed my wheels at the time as a taxi.....cheeky bastards.!
Bagged another quick rideout on the red superlight, i got the last six laps from the motogp race, now sitting here freezing my feet off watching the Exeter Chiefs match refusing to switch on the central heating system.
Took the good lady out on the bike to a charity sports and classic car show at Lulworth Castle, put some money in the bucket, wondered round, checked out some classic and not so classic cars, had an ice cream (with flake) rode back, picked up some veg for tomorrows roast and now off to the pub.
Had a tattoo lasered, then to ease the pain had a few in Wetherspoons. The bog was further away than the bus stop, but you can't take a sh1t on the bus
We moved our only child into Sussex uni today, we were a bit emotional to say to say the least!, she seemed fine though. MotoGP to look forward to later on, can Ducati win the GP title and WSBK title this year, its their best chance for many years.
Repaired the MTS ;-))). after dropping it from a standstill, front wheel slid from under me on an inclination, it happens, no biggie, did not keep me from riding the Stelvio on a semi-naked bike.
Was allowed to drive and go to a works (not mine) family day at Over Farm. Free food and ice cream. What’s not to like?!
It was my 9th session and it's only a few inches across FFS. Daft thing is, I'm removing it for another to go where it was Most horrible 90 seconds anyone could experience!
Perhaps the way forward for anybody thinking about a tattoo is buy a damn t.shirt, it's much cheaper in the first place and when your bored just bin it.
