  1. 3k swim first thing, now settled in for the day watching the funeral. Might wash the bike later.

  2. Cleaned the z4, such a fun car. 31737564-C224-4811-ACFC-3549A0FEA32F.jpeg

  3. Bought a bottle of milk.

Praise be to Indian Corner Shops! And the supermarkets can fuck off.

  4. Was allowed out to test the heart this morning, long as I didn’t play alone . Have to say, was pretty tiring compared to what it is normally. Bit of the funeral, built new wardrobe and now for a coffee and some homemade cake before I hit the Sniper Elite 5 and slaughter some pesky Germans.

  5. The loss of that bottle of milk will look significant on the P&L at the year end

  6. It’s one day. And some wankers can’t even cope with that.

  8. First shakedown ride after full rebuild! (cases opened, repainted, swingarm stripped repainted...etc) - Success...ordered new tyres and a battery!
Heading to the Alps end of the month for a weekend...so need to get stuck into the fairings.

Forgotten how pokey a 999 is compared to my regular ride of a 900ss!

  9. Exactly the same as me today then, did about 100 miles chasing Mrs Slingy around Kent on my old Kz1100. Turns out you can get it pretty much off the tyre on the right, the left however not so much… main stand is now 1/2 an inch higher after a bit of ground interference o_O:D 9E42286F-797C-443A-9DAB-7C5AA86DE334.jpeg 1B20BBE1-21CA-49D0-9159-DAB5306553BA.jpeg 04BEF86F-D9AB-498A-97AC-D53A3A63ECFA.jpeg AF6051B3-3D5D-4F03-86CE-96781CCEEC18.jpeg

  10. Strictly speaking, not today. But I went to the Mayfield Bonfire Carnival on Saturday. Plenty of flaming torches, plenty of unexpected characters in the parade, one huge bonfire and a couple of shandies with friends. What's not to love about that for a weekend away?

  11. What do you think to the Avon road riders? I want something with a bit more grip and been looking at those.

  12. I find they have all the grip I will ever need on these old beast. You’re at the mercy of the chassis and road condition long before grip on these old bloody things :joy:

  16. I was there today, in the car though. There was a large contingent of brits couple of Multis among them one a V4 and a Hypermotard
Forgot to insert a quote here it refers to Pegasus Bridge

  17. What’s actually the problem (what’s causing it) Paul ?

  18. Bought my first ever chainsaw and started clearing overgrown shite that must have been decades old in time for some new fence panels (and started building a bommy). The chainsaw was 45 quid from screw fix (50 including chain oil) and is surprisingly efficient and satisfying. Highly recommended!

  19. Spray painted 42 fence panels, jet-washed patio, took crap to tip, weeded wifeys prized raised bed (her words) and told her if it was so frigging prized, why are there weeds. Thought I could rest now, but she's told me to make my own dinner :D
