  6. Made a nice tomato on toast for lunch. Amazing how a bit of fresh tomato with a bit of garlic, salt and parsley drizzle in touch of olive oil can taste so good.

  12. Home phone rang this morning (first time in months), picked it up and the line was awful, couldn’t hear anything over the constant crackling. No idea who was phoning but they tried again and had the same problem. 15 minutes later, knock on my front door and two of Hampshire Traffic’s finest were standing there checking up on my wellbeing. Turns out the phone call was from Thames Valley Traffic, doing a follow up after my visit to the ditch on Tuesday. I’m pleasantly surprised and grateful. Andy

  13. I especially like it on french bread... Toast the bread first, rub fresh garlic clove onto the bread followed by the tomato, and last sprinkle the oil.

  15. Had a call from the dealer to say my car has arrived at the showroom from the port. It’s being PDI’d tomorrow, then ceramic coated Monday/ Tuesday, ready for collection Tuesday night. Then I’m getting the dashcam fitted (it has built in cameras, but no parking mode), and a Ghost immobiliser on Wednesday, then off to Wales in it for a long weekend on Thursday.
