After coming back home to the UK for our epic Alps trip, I’m now back in Brisbane Australia since the end of September, so we had a little outing this afternoon to a place/event called “Eat street market “ It’s on the riverbank just outside central Brisbane itself.. From the outside it looks like a shipping container city, but inside there are so many food stalls from all around the world you can get an amazing variety of different dishes,..none of them for the diet conscious and plenty of sugary-shite on offer as well Just a random selection of pics and I’ve tried to include as many food ones as I can for @Multirider75 as I know he likes a good nosebag These “Slinky’s “ were interesting,..basically the guy with the electric drill drives a potato on a skewer through a steel slicer that makes the potato into a spiral, dip it in seasoned batter and fry it and voila!…a heart attack on a stick Another one I’d never heard of,..” Ponuts”.. a popcorn/doughnut hybrid,…zero calories in them apparently Bit of a dilemma here ..do I hit Shuck all oyster bar, or the Salty sailor seafood??? Salty sailor for some Moreton Bay bugs and sweet potato fries! Nom-nom, mmmmm! Shortly followed by a large Cappuccino and a massive salted caramel doughnut,…….feel a bit sick now ! Loadsa Macarons if you like those.. Even had a great selection for our four legged friends Fancy a roasted Kangaroo knee cap anyone?? A great couple of hours out for the family and a really buzzing atmosphere with a live band on my two grandsons ( 5 and 2 years) managed to eat their own body weight in Calamari, chips, ice cream, and somehow managed to keep it all down ,..laters people
Went to a party in Blackpool. Stayed over. Will never return. Hotel room was disgusting, but no alternatives available so will shame the place on social media and hope for a refund. Glad I booked a sea view room. It was amazing...
Also spotted this Aussie biker today with the full protection gear on… I mean like how the F…. do you change gear on a Fireblade with just flip flops on ??? I bet he had no skin left on his big toe when he got home
Another drive out in the mini in the sunshine Breaking in new tyres Warmed up a nice bit of popping from exhaust Bloody Starbucks was too busy to queue for drive through Did I say I love my little car whooo hoo
You must have like a bionic eye for spotting bins Viv ??? I thought “ Bins, bins..what’s she on about,..can’t see any bins??” But sure enough, if you blow the pictures up big enough you can spot some in the background ! Your like one of those “ prove your not a robot” photo grid thingies.. Please check all boxes with a bin in it ..
We bought my son a mini cooper, he passed his test on Wednesday, this means I no longer get to drive it I love driving it, it’s not fast just fun.
Nice one Poucher. We went to Scott’s for a late lunch, then got home and fell asleep in front of the telly.
Today I did some decorating, which is not at all interesting, but my good friend, Sandy, recently finished a rebuild of his 1947 Triumph T100 - 500cc parallel twin. He fired it up today, it’s 75th birthday.
Not a lot, as is the plan for the rest of the day. Tried to get the bins in shot for @Ducbird, but the place is a bit posh…
