1'm not buying into anything from the government mouthpieces sent my way from now on in, i would be a total fool if i did.
Wore my veterans badge & poppy with pride and remembered friends and colleagues I served with, who have since past. And of course all those service men & women who served in both World Wars and the subsequent conflicts. Lest we forget.
I actually rode with another bike today for the first time in years, I persuaded my mate who owns the boat yard to come out on his and we ended up doing about 150 miles. Really enjoyed it and also enjoyed the pub we stopped at too!
I did my last friday and i'll have the strimmer out this weekend, but yes the human race is not helping planet earth for sure.
Hunted down a pair of tyres for my lads moped, most expensive quote was £240 , managed to get a pair for £127.
I’m sorry Gandalf, but truth is only what you perceive it to be, which could be different to someone’s else’s perception.
Didn't get the poppy and memorial thing, until I visited a place called Beaumont Hamel. June and I left in tears.
Which is where fact differs, bit many now have their own facts. Look up What is a woman on YT. It’s hilarious. (Caution for you - the bloke doing it is hyper conservative yanky republican who has some bonkers views, but on this im he’s not far off the mark)
Laughed at this.... A lot... Need sound... https://twitter.com/Philsick/status/1590244383215194113?t=2NiAJjk8OSCFFEh7PGd59A&s=19
Had some friends over for dinner. My wife, Palestinian, from Gaza City, and an excellent cook, prepared a broad range of mezze. It’s such a nice way to share food with friends. We had a really lovely, chatty night with a lot of laughs and a bit of dancing. Now our friends have gone home, my wife is in bed and I’m sitting having a cuppa with a very pleasant whisky glow about me. Life is feeling pretty good.
