I've finally ordered a new rear & middle section exhaust system for Land Rover today, with plenty of ground clearence i can get my backside under the said vehicle without too many problems. i tried yesterday with a web page from a local supplier as the price was small change, but when i made that phone call the item was another £89.00 on top............everybody's taking the piss these days.!
Pizza tonight with those homemade jobs, the base & sauce's are from Morrisons, just load it up with your favourite food bits, chuck it in the oven for ten odd minutes and watch the belly expand.

Prepared for our fortnightly jaunt to the city (Manchester today) to get sozzled, but sometimes I wonder why. Train will be delayed/cancelled/packed. It will rain. Spend gazillions on ale and food, only to get a dodgy something or other and have to empty it in abog with more sh1t on the floor than in the pan and no lock of course. Survive the journey back with folk who think singing on the train is appreciated by everybody. Wait three days for a taxi from the station because it's peak time. And depending how much she's consumed, I might then have to 'perform'. Ah, the weekend

A nice walk with the wife and dogs over the park this morning. Weekly food shop, then wiped the wheels down on a bike after last weekends ride. Very little this afternoon, cold wet and miserable outside....
