  1. Did a very similar thing the other day in my garden, I walked right up to a pheasant that was asleep under one of my trees. The look on his face when he woke up and realised was hilarious.

  5. Yes 100% in agreement, but when you've so many vehicles on the road it all adds up for the DVLA account over the twelve month period, i can only use one vehicle at a time which frustrates me giving them all that money for poorly maintained, shite roads.

  6. I’m in the same boat, I tax some of my bikes for 6 months and then swap over to the other ones for 6 months, car I do monthly as I only probably use it for 2 months a year if that and van I do for the full year. Makes me feel better about it anyway.

  7. The VED you pay doesn’t repair the highway, that’s taken care of mostly or not by your council rates.

  8. Celebrated Carole's eldest's birthday down the pub. Her youngest drove and now I'm sat at Carole's waiting for the England match to kick off. Not sure I can keep my eyes open coz I'm already bladdered :joy: Andy

  9. Yes i see Surrey take the largest slice of the cake looking at my council tax bill.

  10. I preferred the old ticket windscreen system where you could skip a month or two if you're brave enough.:p

  11. I’ve always hated tickets on my windscreen.

  12. Feathered, or two legged variety?

  18. I've been on ebay looking for a Chinese rug this morning as a friend won a bid last week on a rather like new/ good size one for less than £100. Not as easy as it seems, the size, colours and price & location are challenging for a sunday morning.
