So what have you done today..?

  1. I remember seeing fruit bats/ flying foxes for the first time in Cairns
Staggering back from the pub looking up at the star filled night sky and thinking to myself how strange to see seagulls flying at night.
That was until they landed on a nearby lamppost and swung upside down.
    Those things are massive.

  4. Same here in Northern Ireland, it’s impenetrable sometimes or mostly.;)

  5. Big gym session & swim, burnt off 1839 calories. Chicken sandwich for dinner, followed by fruit. Won’t take long to get rid of that Christmas excess.

  8. That Irish accent is always tricky at times.;).........more Guinness is required.!

On more serious note it's paramount that the patient and medical staff can communicate at all times.:)

  14. I burn one calorie every 4 seconds in the gym. And 4 calories per length in the pool. It’s quite entertaining to watch, apparently!

  15. That’s some session. Care to share your workout?

I did 30 mins on the bike and managed 400cals.

I then tried to impress the young ladies in there by pushing some small weights. I think they were playing hard to get…

  16. Imagine Ian Paisley but a much thicker accent, I’m having to ask for the speed to be turned from a 45 to a 33. It’s like having English machine gunned at you it spoken so quickly.

  17. 400 in half an hour is good going. I do the bike for 45 minutes, which was 700 calories, 45 minutes on the cross trainer, 700 calories, then swam just over 2k, which burnt 439 calories.

I’ll do it all again today!

  18. As the REM song lyrics goes, what's the frequency Kenneth.....

  19. That's something to work towards...

My problem is this, after breakfast (around 6:15) which is a bowl of Shreddies, I often don't eat until my evening meal. If I go to the gym, that's usually around 7.30 to 8pm.

If I get to the gym for 6:30, it means I haven't eaten for the best part of 12 hours. It makes the gym session a bit of a challenge.

I miss lunch, usually for no other reason that I just get too busy and forget!

  20. You must be e flat out at 100%. At 117kgs I would do an hour jogging at average HR 165 and only burn 900.
