  6. tour of HMS Belfast - was ok, a bit claustrophobic even for a couple of hours so can hardly imagine what it was like for the crew.

  10. I sat about 20yds from you! Not the greatest game but another 3 points are nice.

I remember taking my eldest to his first Villa match, we beat Bolton 5-1, he thought it was fantastic. It was a while before he saw another result like that…

  12. No.....I've got the scrambler if that was the case.

I've always fancied one and now they do proper short arse seats and suspension versions ;)

  13. I popped into a customer today where her toilet seat came away from the brackets, jesus i only fitted it the other day,
She said to me her new boiler's not working, paid British Gas £5k in December, with them putting the phone down when she complains, i'm not sure if they're using call centres or not for their UK based clients or what, but what a shocking service.

  14. BG are down the the chitter, anyone who was any good has left. We’ve been waiting for our annual service which’ll never happen for over 12 Months.

  15. Combined two of my favourite things, retail therapy and golf, in that order.

Popped in the pro shop and bought a whopper of a new driver, then played like a god.

Home now for a roastie and a bit of telly.

  18. In 2021 British Gas fired and rehired on lower pay & worse conditions & 500 engineers were dismissed. So many will have left as soon as they could following that.

  19. Yes, we have had issues with BG over the years due to them maintaining our Esse cooker. Majority of their engineers don’t know enough about it to repair it in a timely manner. We were without it in the run up to Christmas a couple of years ago, I ended up having to drive to the Esse factory to fetch the part as their parts ordering is archaic.
