  7. Enjoy mate, bet the bike is not as shiny in two weeks!

I am off to Oulton Park to see what’s happening with the BSB crowd….suspect I will get rained on at some point today.

  13. Sounds like I need to sharpen my partners looking after skillz.:upyeah:

  14. Finally a weekend warm enough to make a start on sorting my floating money pit. Skegs rubbed down, filled, rubbed down again and now smeared with gelcoat filler -as are the foils.

Spent a longtime and a lot of patience removing about 30% of the old decals from the hulls. At this rate I will have them all off by god knows when...

But oddly I'm enjoying scrabbling around on my knees, working hard & getting it done. I haven't worked on a boat in years!

  15. Are going to re-name her?
If you’ve removed the transom name board is that something you can do?

  16. It must surely be unlucky to rename ships and boats, if it isn’t then it ought to be Shirley.

  17. If they’ve been on a long time good luck, there’s a very good reason why most people avoid such tasks. Reflective tends to be about the worst, with only a Japanese manufacturer producing it in easy to remove.
