A stomach bug wouldn’t be so bad, at least I’d be able to get everything out! This is more of a bad cold, headache, feel like I’ve swallowed a load of razor blades. I’ve been hoping that each morning it would have subsided, but it hasn’t, so as we fly home tomorrow, it’s well and truly wrecked our holiday.
Disappointed for you, a real pisser when that happens. Sure you haven’t contracted the new variant of COVID ? Andy
Maybe, I don’t have a test kit. Just feels like a bad cold tbh, the biggest issue is my sore throat now. Still got a bit of a headache, but that could be all the sangria I’m using to self medicate!
WD40 works well at getting chewing gum off car seats as well… How do I know?? Buster my long gone Rhodesian ridgeback ( him in the avatar) had laid in some chewing gum on the pavement when we were out once and got it stuck on his belly, he jumped into the back seat of the car and using his heat and 10st body weight managed to transfer it nicely onto the car upholstery Some WD40 broke the gum down enough to get it clean again. Also works great at getting off residue from wheel balance weights
As raised temperature for 24 hours followed by cold symptoms Then I tested positive for five days after So a total of approximately 6/7 days of positivity, if you know what I mean.
Seeing as the weather forecast is pants for the next week or so and today was a pretty nice day I thought I’d take the opportunity for a little hoon on the Panigale.. A quick fly down the Helmsley TT and then through Hutton Le hole, NY moors here I come The view looking down towards Rosedale Nice cup of coffee and a piece of Rocky road at Farndale mtb hub, great views About 90 miles by the time I got back home, bluddy love this bike !
Been here mostly To be fair, all mechanically sound, but some idiot parked too close and cracked a hand guard, so a new one and seeing as the lads offered to charge nothing to install, popped some Barkbusters on for added protection.
Yesterday consisted of a 6 hour ride out to Wales, found a group of lost motorcyclists at a petrol stop in llanidoes whilst I drank me Coffee put them right. Carried on into Aberdyfi for a triple ice cream and Coffee then ride home which was a little ruined by being tailed by a wanna be copper over the mountain road, lost him on the Llandoes/Newtown road. Route towns: Shifnal Broseley Much Wenlock Ludlow Leintwardine Knighton Llanidoes Machynlleth Aberdyfi then generally back the same route. Then out for my lads 17th birthday meal.
I’d recommend you treat yourself to some damn fine roads Chris most of which are in better condition than my local roads. Not a lot of traffic during the week too which is a bonus once you get to the honeypots. That has been developed over the years and is pretty much the default route should my bud come along too, sometimes it gets tweaked a little. TBH it’s his route more than mine once we’re beyond Shropshire, there is a slight deviation coming back that misses part of the out route. I’m happy to share the route back by DM should you ever need it Chris. The lost group were from London and were up riding mid/North Wales for a few days but were using a book map which appeared to not show every road available oddly.
This is more what I’ve noticed today than what I’ve done. about 4 months ago I started wearing contact lenses. I have mono-vision so a different prescription in each eye. This means my vision is a bit compromised and sitting at the computer, reading is an effort but doable. Now my vision is much better without glasses than with them. A miracle? Has exercising my ciliary muscles made them stronger? Anybody got any eyedea?
