  6. Paid my joining fee and remaining 2023 subs to my new golf club.

First time as a member for almost 20 years, getting by with corporate and society days, so now to knuckle down and get the most out of it!

  7. Washed and waxed the Land Rover Defender today, also attacked the front brake shoes on the classic LR but a slight problem with freeplay at the minute when spinning the drum.
Yesterday popped into see an old neighbour when speaking with him in his kitchen his Jack Russell was shagging my leg for some odd reason..........happy days for him & certainly not for me.

  10. Took the Nsr out for ride before putting it to bed until Spring then got the 899 out. I was really enjoying myself until I came across an accident that had just happened, loads of people there so didn’t stop but the Triumph was snapped in two. Hope the rider is ok.
Anyway I headed home after that and had the usual weekend warriors chasing me and trying to do Moto GP style passes. Reminded me why I don’t normally ride at weekends.

  11. Yeah went for what is possibly last ride for me too before I seal up the garage and hibernate for a few months. Loads of bikes out today so think its possibly the last hurrah weekend for a few people.

Started to tidy up man cave, and looks like a seal has gone on generator so a floor full of oil to clean up to end the day! In fairness, a cheap imported one used for just track days for about 7 years now so cant really moan its gone pop so one more thing to get over winter - ebay here we come tonight

  19. Splitter is crap to be honest, but all the OEM options are carbon and I'm wanting gloss black.

The after market stuff ranges from £100 to a grand and all the same crap it seems. Might have to go carbon in the end, as I am a bit OCD!

  20. Took the opportunity to have a BBQ in the warm, late summer afternoon. Wagu beef, beefburgers, caramalised onions and plastic cheese :yum Andy
