  1. Then it’s back up to 15 on Tuesday!

  2. Kids have been on at me and the other half to watch Barbie. Without doubt one of the worst, films I've ever watched....if I went to the cinema to watch that I'd have walked out...the only other film I've ever walked out of was that shit arsed batman film with Clooney in it...

  3. I’m still getting over the trauma of watching it, I can’t stop thinking about all the other things I could’ve done with those wasted 2 hours :joy:

  4. Depends where you are. It'll be 11C, falling to 5C here with a large helping of drizzle and a breeze... That combination won't feel like much of an improvement.

  5. Yep...it was fucking shit...my 2 hours would have better spent sticking a fork in my leg.

  6. I got myself a fancy new hob last year as my ole faithful went down to two rings. Unfortunately, I was ignorant to the whole ceramic v induction 'thing'. Guess whole had to buy a complete new pan set? Doh!

  8. I had an induction hob at the last house, and absolutely loved it.
It’s so easy to regulate the temperature and the flat surface is a doddle to keep clean.
It’s true though, you do need induction friendly pans to make it agitate the molecules!
When I get round to redesigning the kitchen I’ll be going back to induction with a two ring gas hob to the side.

  9. It was very frustrating for this luddite, as I really couldn't understand why the hob appeared to power up ok, but the pans/rings wouldn't heat up....:D

  13. just fixed my new Derailleur on E-bike after wrapping the third one up around the wheel last week, a write-off every time, although saved the chain this time. Also got successful part-refund on a naughty mis-described exhaust baffle. Cycling in a minute although a lot colder here today.

  14. Once one conquerors the initial technofear....It's all good.
I'm never changing phones though... :astonished:

  20. My mate came over (with proper trustworthy torque wrench) and helped me replace the water pump on the 899. I’m chuffed that once put back together I can get out on it, I’ve barely ridden it since I bought it in April
