  1. The hotels near the airport and NEC are horrific and bloody expensive,

  2. You’re better to stay well away from the NEC area generally, if you need accommodation fairly near I’ve a lawn large enough for you to pitch your tent out back. Got a long hose fitted to an outside tap for drinking and showering, I’ll also provide a bucket for your hard soil.

  4. Drove down to Brighton to visit our wonderful daughter, going to be fresh tonight sleeping in the van . I suggested some adult fun time to keep warm, the wife said NO, she had put the thicker duvet in ...

  5. Looks good weather but with clear skies it’ll be a chilly one later
Plenty of Black Bush will keep you warm, but I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that!

I’m surprised the site is still open this late in the season.

  6. Took a ride to IoW via Lymington/Yarmouth ferry to see a mate who lives on the island. It nearly didn’t happen, battery was playing hard to get, then low fuel, low front tyre pressure, followed by remote key battery deciding it needed to be changed. Very agreeable bacon bap with coffee at Freshwater bay.

Surprised that I amassed 151 miles.

  7. A quick walk from Sandsend into Whitby and back,
Jeez the weather was grim, blowing a hooley and waves of drizzle flying in :splat: just as well I was Gore-texed up to the hilt !

The Abbey was looking moody and atmospheric in the mist..

Whitby owes a lot to Bram Stoker and the story of Dracula :imp:..

Whitby was pretty quiet due to the grim weather, quite like it that way :upyeah:

  9. Good work! I’m ashamed I didn’t ride, as the roads looked dry.

  10. Took Doris to get her nails, lashes and brows done for tonight. Just need her to get her boobs done and I’ll have a full house :upyeah:

  11. Where’s she going?!

  12. Today I joined the march for Palestine. Me and half a million others. Not up to walking the whole way, but I wished to be there at least for a bit.

  15. Regardless of which side your on, or even if you’re just anti war, I wouldn’t go because of the risk from others or even The Met, Police horses whilst highly trained can get a tad frisky and they have very big hooves.

  16. I’ve read 800,000 in the press, 300,000 from the Met, it’s a lot of people.

  17. Had a good knees up celebrating my sister-in-laws big birthday bash last night
Much Guinness was sank, paying for it this morning so if you all could keep it down a bit, it would be greatly appreciated

  18. It was very good natured and friendly. Young families with children, elderly couples, everything really. Some police around but friendly and helpful. I didn't see any horses.

300,000? Whatever number is given out, treble it if you want a realistic number.
