  3. 20231124_104046[1].jpg I've just unplugged this ADEY Magnaclease central heating satellite cleaning system, well worth the money in my opinion as i've removed so much muck over the past week from the radiators and pipework, with all the radiators now working hot.

  4. Nothing to do with the system, £419.99 inc vat.
I did see one listed on ebay used once for £360, but i didn't have the time to wait for postman Pat which was a shame.

  5. thanks Pete, this could be my best Christmas present, I've managed £395 so far and will probably order today. plumber I just used would charge this and then some, at least I have the equipment to use another time.

Done deal - JT Atkinson up North with free delivery - £100 cheaper than ScrewFix etc.

  7. I think I’m finally recovered from the weekend now. Gone are the days where I just dust myself off, with no effect the following day.

  8. I’m going to try and attempt to fit a “universal” dog guard in the back of the car. I’m not confident that it will fit.

  9. Get one from Mercedes directly
I had one on my last BMW, fitted perfectly
You can also get a boot liner and rear bumper paint protector if you really want to splash the cash.

  10. The car specific one is £160 and I really don’t want to spend that kind of cash on the odd occasion that her dog is in the car. I’ve got a boot liner though.

  11. Boot liners are essential
You might want to protect the bumper paint though.

  12. GWS - back pain is miserable. :(

  13. That sounds awful. I hope you make a swift and full recovery and enjoy many a bad mooded round of golf in the new year.

  14. These posts are no good without pictures :D
    Have a fab time

  15. It does have bumper protection, thankfully.

I’ve tried again to fit the universal guard and it won’t work so it’s going back. I’ve reluctantly placed an order for a car/model specific guard.

My bank manager hates me this month. :(

  16. Travall make good alternatives to the manufacturers offerings, normally a fair bit cheaper.

  17. That’s where I’ve gone to……….its a £5 cheaper.
