Had a visit from my friendly local gypsy family, turned up to my gate en mass and threw every threat including a lot of promises of violence towards me, told me parts of my land are not mine (they are) and that I should take my missus sell the house and fuck off.
All because I parked my van outside my house and I also told one of their lot to move his wagon from blocking me in about 5 weeks ago.
Looks like I’m in for a good Christmas.

Cleaned my van, inside and out. It’s now silver again

 

always makes my blood boil, I like to play this video at times like this, the farmer won his case in court, you probably know.

 

Got a bike out today and did around 80 miles just pottering about the back lanes. First time I’ve ridden in a few weeks and I really needed it, my mental health has been going down hill fast in the last couple of months and riding is like therapy for me.

 

Went to the gym, had a swim, washed the car for the first time in about a month, and wrapped everything up at work until the new year. Now enjoying a couple of beers (alcohol free, after the disastrous weekend). Salmon for dinner.

 

Same mate, work all ended really well, so taking the team out tomorrow for a few drinks and a cheeky Chinese lunch to wrap up 2023 and then endeavouring to stay as p1ssed as possible until the start of 2024.

 

Final bit of (physical) shopping to pick up the cheese we ordered, an unsmoked gammon (not sure if anyone would recognise the expression ‘green’ if I’d used it ) and boxes of 12 large bottles of Estrella, Peroni and Asahi. Might have a bit of a panic on Saturday and have to go out for more beer Andy

Accepted an offer on our house today and put an offer in on another.

 

Ordered brake lines and master cylinder for the v4 track bike. Used it at andalucia and the brakes were really spongey, very little feel when first applied. Always worked but the lever was almost coming back to the bars
