Spent the day with SWMBO's family. SWMBO's grandmother, her three remaining children, around 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, including our son. Lots of food, beer, local rice wine and the inevitable local card game, a variant of gin rummy, played for money. Lots of talking, laughing and general noise. A good time was had by all. We left as preparations for supper started around 4.30 pm Went to the local night market for a spot of noodle soup. Now having some red wine and waiting for 12 o'clock. Wishing you all a happy and healthy new year!
Went for a long walk with friends, followed by a few drinks at the golf club. Back home now, Beef Wellington for dinner with a few glasses of red.
Enjoy. We're doing it in reverse, sort of. Walking to golf club (brolly essential) intending to drink more than we should and somewhere in between there'll likely be a hot pot consumed, before walking, or crawling back home next year.
On call all over the weekend and today with LEBBS (Lincs emergency blood bikes) Sat and Sun were quite busy - hoping for a quieter one today

I had that shortly after my bout of projectile vomiting ! Took me 3 weeks to shake it off, head/chest was full of glue GWS
Been skiing with my Boy. Lady Vader isn’t well, don’t know if it’s food poising but she feels shit and can’t keep food in. Not a great holiday for her.
Thus far none other than him has the lurgy to give it it’s Latin name. Son refuses to take any form of relief from it.
