  2. Stripped the tumble dryer to find the cause of an annoying clunking noise on clockwise rotation, cleaned it out, could find any obvious cause of the noise, reassembled and it doesn’t do it now……..bonus :upyeah::punch:

  11. Well done to your Daughter, is this the starting point to a half marathon maybe?

By the way you seem to me to bear an uncanny resemblance to Chuck Norris.

  12. Came a croppper when filtering through traffic at 3 mph when I hit a number plate that was lying in the road & the front went under from me.

Other than a footpeg & Barkbuster snapping no damage done.... rs

  15. Yep & thanks boys & girls for the kind words & concerns. I've done ~50K commuting in these past 6/7 years and it is the first 'accident' I've had in that time. And there but by the grace of God it was a slow speed off... it does help to remind you how hard the ground is mind.

Yep, and in this instance it was hidden from view & I moved from the outside between a couple of cars to reach the bus/bike lane and there it was in between them. Even at 3 mph there was no option but to run over it & hope...

I've just nipped out and used the bike's own tool kit to straightened up the muffler & pipe and now I'm gonna be spending the next 30 minutes or so trying to get them all back in the bag in such a way to get it back in the bike in the impossibly small space provided for it.

  16. Are you sure that you put everything back together like it was?? Seems to me that the superflugelnokkingwasher has not been reinstalled.

  17. Did some work, then went to the gym. No swim, as I’ve got an ear infection in both ears. Work has been a bit pants lately, so I finished early and spent a couple of hours washing the car, to cheer myself up.

  20. Observed an elderly gentleman get his car trapped sideways between two high curbs in a hospital car park
The noise of the revving and seemingly endless smashing down of the front end on to the curb as he tried to manoeuvre it out was far too much to bear
