So what have you done today..?

  1. That’s a real shame. It all depends on the people you get treating you. There are many devoted individuals doing their damnedest. There are however some lazy fuckers who bring it all down and I saw 1 nurse that was….just beyond words! I was shocked but most try hard, try to help and try not to let politics grind them down. However sometimes, no amount of investment, politics or anything else can make up for the occasional lackadaisical thoughtless of a retard.

I firmly believe most people in the NHS are trying their damnedest to help others.

I hope you get better service soon.

  6. Got the folding camper out of hibernation. Time to make sure the mains hook up powers the fridge and the battery powers the water pump. Canvas looks okay, no evidence of (new) mould but the inside definitely needed a wash and vacuum. I also need to replace the internal light fitting, some dumb arse managed to break it  : unamused: :joy: Done for today, hanging internal bedroom pods, lounge ceiling and fitting the mattresses and sofa cushions, on my list of things to do tomorrow. Donington BSB is only a week away, yippee :D Andy

  7. @Chris
    Regarding Superlight.
Would that be the lot that sit around the table saying grace before they post a photograph of their supper online for other freaks............

  8. Put some trellis up, then put the awning on the pergola, ready for the weekend.

Also fitted a wireless MagSafe charging pod to the car, which was quite nerve racking, but all went without a hitch.

  15. Building a greenhouse out of leftover old bricks, tiles, sand etc etc...as greenhouses (for a half decent size) are into the thousands....i think im into about 400 quid so far...

    Bricks from....
Mother in laws old garden wall (main greenhouse wall)
Mother in laws new garden wall (step)
Random house on the way to Bristol Airport (Pillars and internal walls)
Initial garden landscaping about 15 years old (floor tiles)

Had to buy the tiles that make the shelf and some coping stones for the internal walls...tonights job...

Hit this f*cking monstrosity, got recovered to my local dealer which was back to where I came from (area) an hour before I hit it and now sat waiting to be arse raked with the bill. And therefore missed the conference I was going to that had a lovely meal tonight and overnight all paid for.

  17. I read that a chap was killed swerving to avoid a pothole just like that one, his Porsche hit another car head on, think it was in Sussex somewhere. The roads desperately need sorting.

  19. I think we have all local examples of such horrors and some could quite possibly be killers when hit by unsuspecting motorcyclists - I'm surprised it hasn't happened more often tbh.
