Last night: got the RSV4 back together after the plug change....starts on the button now. Mate came over and helped with the tappet adjustment on dads old Honda so thats now purring like a kitten...next thing is the carb balancing...maybe tonight if i get time...
Hey Keith - i got some....i had a go at it last week as it was ticking over at 3k...there was some dirt in no4 carb so thats being cleaned out. Got the tickover back down the other day...starting on the button now but a little lumpy - based on your teachings im gonna have another crack at it now the tappets are nice and quiet.! Thanks very much for the offer....when its finally running properly ill come over and talk total shite with you!! And thank you very much for the offer again and the help.! that initial lesson got me to get them to a better place/setting !
Ridden up the Galibier on me pusho a number of years ago, quite an epic climb when taken slowly. The descent off the back is over too soon and bloody freezing.
I was at ATS in Crawley today for just tyres, unfortunately it took two visits as only the manager there manning the fort, lack of staff and sicknotes rule the work world these days. So an hours walkaround with P&H motorcycles and a chat with some neck stretchers viewing the airbirds takeoff ( i think that's what they call them ), i couldn't find Autoglass for love or money for my chip in the windowscreen as that was on my hitlist for today. @Chris A wall erected by family descendants from the Tower of London period when you lost your head. More lowrider than the VW boys for sure. Looks like High Vis has caught up the Scottish tossing the caber brigade.

Finished off the centre caps refurb to an appalling standard... tis true what the say that chrome spray paint doesn't exist. I used some Humbrol chrome silver modellers paint on both the inner Audi 4 rings and larger outer ring. They didn't look too bad, more like shiny silver, but even after 30 hours the paint was still soft & took finger prints and they completely changed colour when lacquered. So I'll fit them anyway and see if I can live with them...
So to cheer meself up took the Darmah for a blast up to the Classic Motor Hub and this was parked up... nice...
I went for an emergency x Ray yesterday query a crush fracture in my lower back Results should be back within two weeks GP gave me non opioid based painkillers 2 weeks ago and they are doing a great job of managing the pain thankfully I have to take it easy no heavy lifting etc till results are back Treatment day today The sun is shining
