  6. Same here mine had things growing on it. A kindly and concerned neighbour reported it abandoned a few weeks ago :joy:, thought I’d leave it a little while longer just for them.

  8. One of my neighbours complained about the noise, so, I did the only thing a respectable Ducati owner would do.....

Fired up the 996 and revved it a few times :D

  9. Not had that with mine although when my Son had his 50 one neighbour was very vocal how much irritation it caused to her whilst he throughly warmed his engine up to temperature, told my Son to ignore her and later the husband.:)

  13. Needs a sticker along the top of the windscreen or it really shouldn’t have a name.
If you’re going to name a vehicle it needs to be known to everyone who sees it.;)

  14. The name is probably too long for a windscreen strip, so I’d have to use its initials, which are “SS Sow”. That would be rather apt, as it handles like a pig and because it’s a diesel, it’s quite smelly but has plenty of grunt.

  16. Driven from my son’s place in Amsterdam to Luxembourg. It pissed it down in Biblical proportions on and off the whole way. Glad I didn’t come in a convertible, which was one of the proposals. :splat: :joy:

This has to be the wettest year in living memory. I know the other night was the wettest in our village for 35years. I can’t stand it, I’m off to southern Spain as soon as I can.

  17. Yesterday it pissed down all day. It never let up once, so I stayed in and did a few odd jobs including sorting out my packing for the weekend up in Northumberland and my stuff for my trip to Northern Ireland next week.

Today, if it dries up, I’ll go out on the bike for a couple of hours before going to see Terrorvision tonight with my best friends. :)

  18. I agree, have you seen B & Q are starting a new line in gardeners wet suits?

Went for to see Bill Callaghan play at the New Century Hall.
Not a fan of seated gigs but this was exceptional

  20. Now you've washed it buy a bottle of Milton sterilising fluid ( used for sterilising babies bottles) and spray it with that.

I did some research on the tinternet about moss on softops. I sprayed the car roof and what was left sprayed a patch on the Summer house roof. The patch on the summer house roof has been clear for two years. The car soft top not as effective
