Got pissed off with yet more sanding and rubbing down of tank, while covered in fuel as there is no drain plug Dont know why I bother. I hate doing this stuff, it end up looking shite and I spend probably as much in halfords paint as it would have cost me for someone else to do it! oh yeah, I remember, coz it needed repairing and the twat who owned it lacquered the stickers on and would have cost a fortune for a pro to sort
I am a mod on another, much quieter forum. When the boss made me a mod I hit everyone who wasn't posting regularly with the infraction stick - that woke the buggers up - and we've been having a laugh with it ever since. Got home just now and the boss has made about 20 other people mods, and they've infracted the living shit out of me! They just don't understand - I AM THE LAW!
Got to grips with prepping and spraying a base coat (or three) on the track petrol tank. I used some Yamaha pearlecent white left over from when I was planning to spray a rear seat hump for the girlfriend's R6 but never got round to it before she decided to sell it. Still not sure about the overall colour scheme but strangely I quite like the white. Pictures posted in my Album. Andy
Hard to see from the photo, but re fitted the back end of the CBR, the pillion pegs, hangers, grab rail and side stand have all been powder coated, and everything re fitted with new stainless steel cap head allen bolts (liberally doused in copper grease of course) found a mistake in how it was put together before too, the back end fits in a much more 'Honda' way now.
Tonight I went bowling with my local bike club and had a nandos meal Consistent at bowling which was a good laugh, consistently bad that is ! forecast looks good for the morning so the Multi will be getting an airing !!
I'm sure Bernstein and Sondheim would be delighted with "quite good"! Too much shrieking for my liking, a bit like Wagner - I love the overtures, but once the caterwauling starts, I'm off!
The music and the acting was excellent in the main. However the lead man (who played Tony) was weak in my opinion, both from a singing pov and also acting. He was a tad wooden. The girls in the show however were as fit as fuck and could sing too
I saw it too, it was Natalie Wood............ but not today...........I've been installing (is that the word?) two new refrigeration appliances, having first emptied and defrosted the old ones.............Not convinced the new ones are working properly, but I suppose 24 hours will tell*......(*not the bloke with the crossbow)..... ..........So here am I (at 00.46 Sunday morning) having a large G & T........Cheers!
I went to see the Ben Stiller film The Secret Life of Walter Mitty which I thought was very enjoyable (surprisingly, in some respects). I've written what I thought of it here, if you're thinking of going to see it. Have just been listening to England's final ignominy in the Ashes, as they get snotted in a 5-nil whitewash. Losing the Ashes is poor, but fair enough - it happens. Losing 5-nil is very poor, but it could have been close. Sadly, it wasn't close: England have been absolutely trampled on in every single match. No wonder I went to the flicks to cheer myself up.
