Chosen not to have a cr/card and frozen contactless, phone and internet purchases on my debit card. If I want to use it over the phone or internet then I just unfreeze it, takes seconds to do and I feel a degree of protection. I also get instant notification of any purchase or cash withdrawal come through to my mobile.
They could tell me that both transactions were done from an iPhone, 2 different devices, but the same location, they were not allowed to tell me the location, or how they did it I have never used the Samsung wallet function, my card, ir bank details, have ever been entered in to it, and they never will
Well I was in and out of the hospital in 5 minutes. They were very efficient indeed……dermatologist said he wasn’t bothered about the lesion and said I just need to use moisturiser on my back. So that was a result I wasn’t expecting
Three long flights today in mixed weather conditions. Loving the challenge of being back in the air after my 18 month hiatus. On the AW139 having flown the EC175 for a couple of years, both very capable but also very different helicopters with a decade of development between them.
MJ the Musical. Simply stunning, even with the delay when the lead was replaced by his understudy. And the kid that played young MJ was so good vocally I’d have struggled to tell them apart.
After 11 months with the second pair of boots from Millets i finally returned them for a refund yesterday as the stitching was coming apart. Moreover i purchased another pair at the sametime ( two odd weeks later ) and they've been replace with another pair and are still going as i don't use them as much as the other pair. So the rule of thumb's just don't walk in them and they'll last forever.
You did well to get a refund on a used pair of eleven month old boots. Your powers of persuasion are strong.
Four pairs in total, you've to say the quality's probably not're at £49.00 sale price, the bloke in the Uckfield branch knew his onions and upgraded me to a better pair, the staff at the East Grinstead branch are not so clever.
if you shop there regularly I guess you might be a valued customer! You've reminded me of a contractor that I worked with once who delighted in telling me that he would wear out his shoes but keep the box and wrapping immaculate and then purposely target a young assistant on the busiest day he could to complain and get a replacement or his money back, smiling while he told this story. looking back he was definitely a psychopath and makes me wonder what else he got up to in later life, you probably worked out that I didn't like the bloke very much.
Not sure what boots you like, but if your feet fit, I would recommend Salomon boots. I think mine should be close to 1k miles and still holding together and pretty water resistant.
Same here - I'd never put any bank/card/personal details etc in my phone. All email & purchases etc I do via my (Ubuntu) desk top & PayPal. My immediate thought when they said they couldn't tell you how your details were compromised was because it via payment infrastructure/processes. Or perhaps I'm just a cynical old fart...
It's a chill, bright, blue sky autumnal day and there's a Ducati in the garage, hmmm Took him out for a 40 mile biff obvs...
This morning I went for a tattoo consultation as I’d like to embellish the first one I had done back in August. Now booked in for 10th December
It was a first for me for years not shopping in that store, i was walking by and spotted the sale 11 months ago and thought i got a bargain but maybe not based on my experience.
Had a meeting with police and highways agency and our hedge is definitely 1000000% ours, what a shock. Police still trying to avoid prosecuting the rats next door even though we have multiple cctv of them including last Saturday when they last damaged it. Two tier policing is just wonderful isn’t it. After that I got the bike out and got myself lost in the Cotswolds for a few hours. Might even put the heating on tonight too.
