I’m waiting for a replacement boiling water tank to be delivered so later I’ll be attempting to do some plumbing
Is it for the Quooker tap? The reason I ask is I've been offered one as part of a new kitchen installation I’ve got planned for spring. Ive never had one or used one i’m not sure if it’s worth pursuing
It’s a lookie likie……..I’ve had a boiling tap for about 20 years now. They’re great. I use it for much more than making a cuppa. I had this one fitted when I moved into the house 2 years ago so I’m a bit disappointed that the tank has started to leak after only a couple of years. And of course it’s just out of warranty . It’s never happened before.
Thanks I’ll bear it in mind at our next consultation with the design team, genuine article or not at all. Good luck with today’s spannering
How does the boiling water bit work? I mean how do you avoid accidentally trying to wash your hands in boiling water, I presume there is a safety lock or something?
There's a separate tap bit to turn (which is designed to be difficult to turn) so you cant casually mix them up with the main part of the tap.
