  3. More what I did a couple of days ago; threw away the wrong clothes horse. : unamused:

Our neighbour had Sharps in for a bedroom and had a skip on the drive, said if you've got any bits toss them in. We had a clothes horse that needed to go. "It's the one in the spare room", said Mrs GG. So on Tuesday I open the door, see the clothes horse, take it downstairs & toss it in. :upyeah:

Apparently, the phrase "It's the one in the spare room" actually means "It's the one in the spare room that I've hidden behind the door where you can't see it, not the other one that is clearly on view". Today I'm berated for not having put the broken one in the skip. I protest my innocence, only to be told the broken one is the one that Mrs GG has brought down & is still sitting in the front room. After a brief discussion regarding my inability to follow inadequate instruction, I go out to put the broken one in the skip & retrieve the other one; which, of course, has been skip-surfed by the usual suspects...

Amazon are coming on Saturday...

  6. The owner has had it 17yrs and was his boyhood dream to own one, apparently very low numbers made

Owner also mentioned he goes every year to a Lagonda rally in Belgium?

  7. What a day, rode down to the New Forest then across the coast to Charmouth then back up through Bath and home, 320 miles done and 20c for most of it. Lots of bikes out …. Bloody skivers :grinning:

  8. Rode to the owls nest in Llandovery for a breakfast, also got my mate some Ducati coasters made from Welsh slate. Texted the eldest who is at Uni in Aberystwyth to see if he wanted to meet up for a coffee. “I’m too busy today Dad” had a few lectures so couldn’t meet up. Oh well he’s home next weekend for his birthday.
Went from the Owls Nest over to the Baffle Haus in Pontypool near Abergavenny for a coffee and a salted caramel brownie :yum
Took the SL which got a lot of attention. People seem to really like the old Supersport. Covered just over 200 miles.

  10. That pub looks familiar….

  11. Took delivery of my new bike. Had to adjust the shelving in the garage to fit the pannier on them, in their box, which turned into a bit of a mission.

Did a few bits to the bike (throttle spacer, de-wax the chain, remove all the factory health & safety stickers), then went for a ride.

  18. Damn, was at the Baffle Haus yesterday at lunchtime, pretty sure I saw you ride in. Would have been good to say hello.

  19. A few days earlier and you could have joined in the St Patrick’s day celebrations.
Which I’m sure you would have enjoyed.
