  2. ^ that could've featured in a Doctor Who episode in the 60s, I feel certain that the cybermen got their inspiration simply from a bloke with headphones on:laughing:
have spent the last two weeks ferrying excitable people around in a vehicle type very well known to you.

  3. But you might have been paying a lot more council tax every year too, so I think you are probably ahead? At least I hope you are!

Visiting Hillsborough Castle today. Where the Good Friday Agreement was negotiated. Missed King Charles, he was here last week.

  8. You have my sympathy - I pay more council tax than my (terrace-house) neighbour as I'm in a 'better' area!

  9. This morning I have been buzzing around like a blue arsed fly, which included going to two Lloyds Banks (as the Stockton branch is shut on Thursdays ffs!) and when I got to the Middlesbrough branch I had a nightmare trying to park anywhere close by.

Anyway upshot is solicitor now has all my money in readiness to complete my house move by 31st March :upyeah:

  11. Started to tackle the stump from a wildly out of control variegated maple that had to be cut down 3 or 4 years ago having overgrown my garden and the public footpath along my boundary. Got the 18” Stihl out, sharpened the blade and fired the beast up. Flaming stump is mainly soft as a mushroom but has hard as granite bits which shagged the chain, which to fair has been on the saw for several years. New chain on order so should restart over the weekend. Andy

  12. Ripped the ceiling down in our sun room because it was bowing quite badly and patched the hole. Fitted the new tank to the Nsr and now I’m down sorting the boat out ready for the new season. Busy day.

  14. Drove from Kent to Brancaster in Norfolk for four days away in the camper, lovely weather today.
Smart motorways proving not so smart as not a single section of the journey at the national speed limit, all 60,50,40 and at times for no reason at all .

  17. Went to James May’s pub. A stark contrast to JC’s pub, for the better.

We didn’t eat, but the food coming out looked amazing.

  19. Just ordered over £11k's worth of new furniture for my new place. Ohh and I've dealt with about 60 russian bots trying to join our little family.
