Not today but yesterday, staying away in Sheffield had an early day so me and my mates went for a walk to the Bike Specialists. I need to win the lottery. Some beauts in there, lots of Ducati, some nice MVs. I want a Desmosedici! Wonder how much a kidney is worth
Today is vanity/dressing table build day, and I’m also going to get some chalk paint to paint up an old bedroom sideboard to match the wardrobes and bedside cabinets in the master bedroom before my new bed comes next week. Non stop fun in this house
No, it’ll be 2hrs 25 minutes waiting because the Dentist is delayed and 5 minutes work. They’ll still empty his wallet tho
Had a crown fitted, not that type! Do you know what, it actually turned into quite an interesting morning. The dentist talked me through the 3d mouth scanning tool they have and then took me to the 3d machining tool that makes the crown on site. I watched my tooth being made! When that’s done, they cook them, the longer the whiter apparently. Anyway, all that kit explained the cost. And we think Ducati are expensive.
Wow, so much better than when I had mine done. A mould of my teeth taken and sent away, 2 weeks later go back for fitting, she then spent an hour grinding it down to fit.
Done two of the most expensive things known to man . Took the cat to the vet = £106 for 12 mins trip to the dentist = £125 for 26 mins . Not bad hourly rates if you can get away with it . At least my minimum wage has just gone up .
Successfully managed to pack the car's tyre pump wires & tubes & gubbins back into it's box. And was able to shut the lid
Another walk in yet another place I'd love to move to, going to have to bring the bike up here too as the roads are mint and views stunning. Cathedral cave. 10km walk turned into 5 hours with the kids. Lots of stops to check all the cool stuff out including spotting the raf flying about which we've never seen before (only at air shows)
Finally got given permission to view the cafe I’ve been looking at in the peaks. Quite handy actually as it’s given me time to do some research. Booked up in our dog friendly place the whole week after Easter. Chatsworth house gardens booked in for the Tuesday viewing at the cafe the day after. Walks pubs etc… lovely.
Made the mistake of having a look at my pension to see how it’s doing. Two years of payments and overpayments down the drain. That orange twat has royally fucked everyone over.
I know I should do the same, but can't help but look. After the twats U-turn, it seems to be rising again steadily. I'll try not to keep checking!
