  4. Got up at 5.30am, out of the house at 6am. Drove to Gloucester for a meeting. Then drove to near Weston Super Mare for another meeting, then to Swindon for the final meeting of the day.

Drove home and just got in.

  5. Today was that day when I watched my son take a 600 out on track for the first time. The feeling of wanting to be sick and the feeling of pride, battled each other!!!!! However he took to it like a duck to water. Big leap from his 125 :upyeah:

  6. Went for a check up at the hospital following my op 2 weeks ago. Told by the very nice lady doctor that she is amazed at how well the scar has healed, and give me the good news that there was no cancer cells found!!!!

    oOOoooOOoOooo....

Van turned out in front of him - old driver who didnt as much as look left?? He crunched into the back of it & flew down the road, the bike span down the road on its rh side... front wheel into the radiator - the frame headstock looks fine?? Top yoke snapped, bottom yoke bent up, fork lower snapped in two, caliper broke off, bodywork all down the road etc...

He was ok? Leathers, AGV GP lid, back protector - only scrapes to his elbow, a hip scrape from a jacket rideup, sore knees and a poss. perforated eardrum? Nowt really?

The driver admitted blame as soon as he got out of the van? Police were there within 15 mins (the local headquarters is 5 miles away) & helped clear up the coolant & oil...

Could have been worse? I reminded him if it had been an artic he would have SPLATTED into the back and Sergei-slid his way to the floor, lol :upyeah:

  9. Shudder..... Glad he's ok!

  10. Excellent news - now you can cultivate the story about having been injured in a gang fight and that the perptrator ended up in a worse state :upyeah:

  11. Pleased to hear your mate is ok. Postal drivers are dreadful, we share yards with them and their vans are always bashed about. Would advise anyone to be very wary of them!
