i workd in a ford garage next to the railway in fort Bill used to watch the steam train every morning and evening pulling away and returning in the summer. superb.
No. 2-stroke smell is a good one, but the smell of steam loco is in a different class altogether. I wish they could bottle it.
Been up the local garden centre (Hilliers) buying some sale price mid level micro fleece tops. Craghoppers stuff too. Ideal for winter riding
that's a bargain (if you're a big old boy!), I bought one from TK Maxx for £15.00 a few weeks ago, perfect under a textile jacket
TK Maxx stock usually have small faults on or misplaced stitches - stuff that makes them unsaleable to High St stores. Hence why the place looks like a jumbles sale - because it is They're cheaper & better at the Garden Centre
This morning was spent in a Yurt up on the South Downs.I was doing a Yoga workshop, and very enjoyable it was to.Interesting background as well with the howling wind and pouring rain. After I have come out of my present euphoria i will unpack my latest purchase - a compressor which I got from Screwfix in their sale.I do like new toys.
Castrol R coming out the exhaust of a Triton is better, followed by loco smoke. The smell of locos takes me back to my train spotting days.
Well we have a good result.Mrs Mervyn was so relaxed and chilled out after our Yoga workshop today I have the green light for another bike. All I have to do is leave her a complete record of value of bikes and bits-just in case I loose me marbles. And I have to sell one of my existing bikes,at the right moment.all in all it has been a good weekend-I think I had better touch some wood just in case of something called Sods Law.
Take one bike apart, then after a year re-assemble it and tell her you made it from all the spares you have.
