'Twas a bit nippy on the way to Bristol this morning , skipped the ride in and had a very agreeable pizza for lunch at Giuseppe's. Sun came out and had a warmer ride home. Assumption - the mother of all fuck ups ;p
Set out to Gordano at 6.45. Frosty start and I was f.....g freezing until I was warmed by the amount of people there.. Never done this big meet thing before but the ride in was well organised and went off In three or four groups. Nice to look at so many nice bikes with some one trying to sell it to you. Cars were cool also. Came home via Stratford, that was rammed. Didn't meet any of you but, as I don't any of you that is a stupid thing to say...I'll shut up now
You met loads, you just didn't recognise anyone. Clearly , you did not have your username on a label on your chest.....
A bloke knocked on my door this morning and said, "I have a parcel for your next door neighbour." I said, "You've got the wrong house then, mate" and closed the door.
been away, came back all good. didnt take the bike as i had a sneeky run planned for tomorrow. i do like avimore cracking roads dramatic views especially this time off year sunny warm and still plenty of snow on the mountains. if you haven't been i would recommend it, especially if your the bear grills out door action man type. like what i am. not.
Had a good run to Bristol, had a better run back, loads of bikes and people I know, pizza lunch was good too
Walked the dog early through frosty fields. Over to Gordano for the ride in to Bristol Italian day. very very grateful for the heat that comes up from under the seat of the 749, I wonder if I can channel it up to my hands???? Any ideas??? Met a few faces I know! had a cracking breakfast in the covered market! much warmer ride home? chopped more wood in the garden, walked dog, gym, shower then an Indian takeaway. Now watching Endeavour. A good day.
Might get a pair, it doesn't help that I have Reynauds so my hands were white when we got to Gordano, the distance is less than 20 miles.
