  2. A sad day for me, 2 1/2 years ago I had bowel cancer and a good mate came to visit me in hospital and at home ( I am ok now ) now I find myself visiting him in a hospice with a very aggressive form of cancer which has affected his spine and he has lost all feeling below the waist leaving him in wheel chair for the time being as there is no treatment other than pain relief for him.
This does make me sit back and be thankful for what I have regardless of the odd aches and pains riding the 748.

  4. Just got back from triumph live. The little shit held his own on his 125 with tuition from Glen Richards, Paul Young and pesky. We have to wait another couple of weeks to see if he has got through to the last 3. So if any of you kind folks have five mins would you be so kind as to follow the drain on my wallet please on twatter and fuzzbook. Triumph look at all that pr shit as well as his riding. Cameron Lee #58. Thank you

  5. Stick a link up mate, I'll join and post it on a couple of other race ones...we all like to support young talent :)

  6. went for a 17k road run, first road run in months due to torn calf. Only 6 weeks until the Cardiff half marathon.........panic training time from now.

  7. How did you tear your calf? In the gym or running?

  8. I had a run to Squires and had a coffee there. Came back and cleaned the bike and put it away. Started to watch the Southampton vs Man Utd match and fell asleep half way through, waking up to watch the last ten mins.

Oh and at one point on the way home I was pulled by a nice West Yorks policeman who told me off in a kind and understanding manner and used his discretion and let me off........phew!!

  9. Whilst out on a run few months back jumped up the kirb and it went, very painfull and a long limp home. Still a bit tender.

  10. Spent my time looking for a washing machine.i know how to have a good time !but wait til i get my bike across to Wales.then the fun begins.

  11. Took the pup out for a long walk and a swim in the river, went to east midd airport to meet my best mate to pick up the nipper as he has been staying with her for a few days, going to watch strike back project x in a bit and Munch on Jaffa cakes and drink tea!!

  12. So you didn't get out at all then?

  13. Had a great ride to Castle Hedingham and back (160 miles) and did some have a go archery whilst there, won the inter group mini competition at the end!

  14. Spent saturday afternoon in Ducati Coventry and all today at Alton Towers (for free thank god) so a good weekend..

  15. No carbon pants didn't get out of bed till 11am lazy sod and the pup was going bonkers so we had to take her out and time was short as need to leave at 5 to pick the nipper up!

  16. Had a 2 hour jam with the band and then went for a bucolic walk. Dog's arthritis is too bad now to walk her, so went by myself. Quicker, less hassle but less fun somehow.

It's a toss-up as to what will make me deaf first - wind noise when biking or our lead guitarist and bassist's efforts to exploit their amps in a smallish room.

  17. Is that where you eat loads then throw it all up whilst walking?

  18. It all comes of pigging out on jam for 2 hours.

  19. Late night last night at the Paralympics, a bit of mini-rugby coaching this morning, then down to Shoreham to see the Vulcan bomber flying. What a beautiful death machine!

    Knackered. :)
