After the 7am pool / 5.5k run, I drove a 300 mile round trip to collect bike number 4 for my mate, making 6 in the garage now, half of which are kawasakis
The Vulcan is very cool. Saw it in the 70s - looked like a flying block of flats (it was very low and big). Too bad it was developed to obliterate people.
Not to be taken lightly though glid, I know a few musicians who suffer from tinnitus, it's not the deafness it's anything from what feels like a permanent head cold to a constant whining that seems to have planted itself in the middle of your brain :frown:
Thanks for the heads up. tinnitus I do not need. We may have to turn it down a bit but a guy with a 100 watt Marshall is not easily controlled (and it doesn't need to go to more than 1 and half to produce a wall of noise).
thanks, yes not too bad for an old git,did it last year for my first ever half so was hoping to beat last years time but injuries have messed up training this year. Next run tommorrow night.
Well was going to go out for a ride, The first since breaking my ribs but the weather was looking a bit dodgy so took some time to give the bike a clean instead. Crappy mobile camera so not the best pics
How did you get on? I went further this evening in a slightly quicker time. hell yeah! Still not fast, but its getting easier. Jester, I'm not the biggest fan of late model sports bikes, but the 848 / 1098 is just sooooooo pretty.
Indeed, Happy belated Birthday Glid, you should have told us earlier, you'd have had lots of cheerful messages yesterday.
Thanks all! Have to admit to being a fan of birthdays and Xmas and celebrations in general. But they aren't what they used to be. Where's my cake???!
I've never seen a Swiss roll in a boulangerie in Switzerland. I don't think they exist anywhere outside Cadbury's or whoever it was that made them. I have a few Swiss army knives. What's the point of having your cake if you can't eat it? If any bugger thinks he's going to eat my cake, he's got another think coming.
