Had a great day out with the Yorkshire and Derbyshire/Staffordshire Ducati contingent. Good to meet you all. We've got to do it again soon!
Had a great weekend out with the UKMOC bunch - good times , saw Pete1950 at cassington - a few hundred miles on the clock , fab weather and scenery although a fair few roads are still riddled with pot holes and no dramas - Chinese on order
never mind its gonna be good tomorrow and Thursday, how do i know this? because iv got to take cars down the road.:Banghead:
Rode over to Compton Abbas, had to do zigzag as the other road was closed, I'm so glad I've spent time in the Pyrenees and Black Forest as I quite enjoy the hairpins, but...very glad I had the monster at the time Met up with The Old buzzard and Dave plus others, sorry I'm not good on names. Had a chat then left for home. we got to the airport early so straight in for breakfast, served immediately and it arrived as we took a seat outside. However, half an hour later the queue was out of the door. Sat on the 800 Brutale and the Dragster, both nice. A good weekend, out on the bikes both days:Happy:
1st Barbie today after doing a bootsale this morning. So sold a load of crap and ate healthily this afternoon. Parents visited aswell and had a few beers. All good really apart from this poxy cold ! No biking yet again not that I feel like it.
Beautiful day here. Breakfast outside in the sun, watched Moto2 and MotoGP, then took the MV Rivale to the gym. On the way home stopped off to see a mate who is looking after a baby owl which was very sweet. Apparently, the mothers hoof their downy offspring out of the nest after a while, but continue to feed it for about 2 weeks. Problem is, with cats about, a baby owl on the ground is on a hiding to nothing, so this one is living in a cardboard box by day, and on a balcony where the mother can get to it at night. Whatever. Then I had a fab BBQ - first of the year outside.
We didn't have a BBQ last night but we did eat al fresco with her next door. Then we sat out on the decking overlooking the stream till about 10.30pm - what a lovely day! Let's hope there's many more to come this summer.
